JANUARY 20, 2017: CORE TOPICS & OWNERSHIP REPRESENTATION

NEW CORE TOPICS: This course covers: an update of the NJ REC rules and regulations; the new mortgage financing laws; it covers how the new accounting rules for leases may affect owners, tenants, brokers, and property managers. It also provides an overview of the ADA and the new ADAAA laws. This is a good course for licensees who work with owners, tenants or manage real estate. The course is interactive, and it uses media to help illustrate the concepts.

OWNWERSHIP REPRESENTATION: AGENCY AND DISCLOSURE:  This course covers what you need to know when representing ownership in a sales, leasing or property management agency relationship. It reviews the types of ownership structures, property evaluation, building systems, environmental concerns, market evaluation, reconciling ownership’s goals with the market place, strategies in repositioning the property, formulating the leasing and management plan, operating the property, collecting rents and financial responsibilities of the licensee.

LOCATION:  The Eastman Building, 290 W. Mt. Pleasant (use 80 Beaufort Ave for GPS), Livingston, New Jersey

Time:  9:00AM to 4:00PM       Lunch: Lunch is on your own.

Cost:        $160.00 for BOMA member firms     $180.00 for non-member firms

The course is offered by N.J. Real Estate Instructors, LLC, a N J Real Estate Commission licensed  continuing education provider in conjunction with BOMA New Jersey. The State also requires us to take attendance and ask for identification.
