       "SUSTAINABILITY WITHOUT SACRIFICE" 
    

Sustainability measures have traditionally impeded on creature comforts, but NRG has used them as an enhancement in providing Class A off the grid.

After Hurricane Sandy in 2012, NRG decided to create a safe, reliable workspace that can endure the most extreme weather conditions and support critical 24/7 business operations.
 
At the tour and at the Q&A session you will see or learn about the generation farm, green roof, wind turbines, solar thermal system, solar photo-voltaic system, rainwater capture, daylight harvesting as well as the innovation lab, trade floor, wind art wall, solar art wall, earth art wall, fitness center, bike share program the state of the art auditorium and The Princeton Pulse, a one-of-a-kind application that uses real-time data to illustrate how the building’s energy systems generate, store and distribute power. 

After the tour, we will travel to Boston Properties for a networking reception which will be held outdoor—weather permitting.
