"Complying with Decarbonization Goals and Maintaining Reliability with Future Proof On-Site Generation"

Speaker Part I:  Gearoid Foley, Senior Advisor to Dept. of Energy's NY/NJ CHP Technical Assistance Partnership with guidance on ways to prepare for NJ's Energy Master Plan and the Climate Change Resiliency Strategy.

Part II: "Future Proofing the Built Environment with Renewable, Regenerative and Resilient CHP Systems"

Vishnu BarranEng., Sales Manager CoEnergy America and Nina Kovalenko, Eng., MBA, Strategic Account Manager-Facility Solutions, Binsky & Snyder

The presentation looks at how on-site generation such as combined heat and power (CHP or cogeneration) can develop with the fuel supply to provide stability at the building level with carbon-neutral or non-carbon resources. As renewable energy mandates force more large-scale intermittent resources onto the grid supply, local grid-interactive resources will play a vital role in supporting grid voltage and frequency. Electrification will add significant load to the system which will therefore become more heavily dependent on Distributed Energy Flexible Resources or DEFRs. This presentation will help attendees understand the options and what to look for in the future.

Top Take-a-ways you will learn on this webinar:
